Phil
and Annette Chaseling and family at New England Specialty Poultry (NESP)
have been growing and processing game birds, including pheasants, guinea
fowl, cornfed chickens and spatchcocks, as well as muscovy ducks since
1972.
All of our poultry and game birds are
grown organically without ever having used any antibiotics or hormonal
growth promotants. A fact we re very proud of as we have been practising
for 30 years what has only recently become fashionable.
We also process white farmed rabbits,
game rabbits and hares. All of our poultry and game birds, as well as
ducks are grown by ourselves on our farm in the hills overlooking
Tamworth, on the edge of the New England Ranges. We do not have any
contract growers, so we can guarantee the quality of our poultry. Our
abattoir was the first in NSW to submit a HACCP based quality assurance
programme to AQIS, and is fully quality assured with NSW Safe Food
Authority.
We deliver our products daily to
Brisbane.
